Going out can be a real excitement for little ones, even if it's something as simple as posting a letter, visiting a neighbor or taking the trash out.

Here are more suggestions;

1. A picnic- A few slices of bread, fillings, drinks and fruit will be enough for so much fun. Allow your child to make and wrap the sandwiches.

2. Shopping- This can be so much fun. There is a huge place for them to run, trolleys to push or sit on and they can help find things that are on the shopping list. If the supermarket has self service check out, you can give them coins to feed the machine or bank notes.

3. Museums and galleries- This can be great for a rainy or cold day.

4. Playground- this is an exceptional place, they can do it all. Run, jump, climb, slide, swing you name it.

5. play rooms- This is also great for rainy days and the best part, you can have coffee and a snack as you watch your kid play with others. It's also a good place t make new friends for both of you.

6. Flying a kite- this is fun, my son loves it. You can never go wrong with it. You can fly in turns or you can have your own.

7. Swimming- This is fun and great for anyone who wants to keep fit as well as have fun and spend time with their little one.

8. Treasure hunting- You can hunt for anything. From insects to leaves and sticks or pine cones.

9. Cycling- You can grab your bicycle and have your little one on, but if they can cycle you can both go cycling on your bicycles.

10. Frisbee- You can throw a frisbee and soon your child will join in.
